We look before we clean
Engine bays have wiring, sensors, open filters, old plastic, aftermarket parts, and sometimes leaks the owner didn't know were there. We check all of that first. If we see something that makes the job a bad idea, we'll show you.
Then we pull out the loose leaves and dirt before bringing cleaners or moisture into it. Most of the work is brushes, towels, controlled product, and patience. We aren't trying to flood places that don't need water in them.
This is cleaning, not mechanical work
We can make the accessible parts of an engine bay look a lot better. We can clean dust, grime, and some greasy buildup. We cannot fix the oil leak that caused the mess, diagnose a sensor, repair wiring, or make old cracked plastic new again.
If the bay is very tight, some areas simply aren't reachable without taking parts apart. We don't pull an engine bay apart for a cosmetic detail, and we won't pretend we cleaned behind something we couldn't get to.

Do you pressure wash the engine?
We use the amount of moisture the vehicle lets us use safely. The point is controlled cleaning, not seeing how much water the bay can take.
Can you remove old grease and oil?
We can clean a lot of accessible residue, but active leaks and years of baked-on buildup have limits. The leak needs mechanical repair or it will come right back.
Will you disconnect anything?
This is an appearance service, not engine disassembly. If something needs to come apart, that is outside the normal detail.
